By removing walls and opening out the space Carr DCMI totally transformed the whole house, making the most of the views toward the Yarra River, and ensuring that however the grand final building became , that the kitchen as in many homes, remains the centre of family life.
The landscape surroundings give the impression of 'infinite green' providing this urban villa with a strong country feeling
The site falls over 14 metres towrds the river and the entire building was gutted to the existing perimeter and reworked over 3 levels to allow the view to dominate.
