INTRODUCTION

Kauri Natural rug is entirely hand woven and hand finished.The unique textile; a flexible tube knitted from multicoloured polyester yarns, creates a plisse effect when woven on a cotton weft.

The irregularity of the plisse, which varies across the weave, and the chromatic iridescence of the textile, creates a unique and unrepeatable textural aesthetic.
